We are seeking a skilled QA Tester with expertise in Application Development testing to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications throughout the development lifecycle. As a QA Tester, you will collaborate closely with developers, understand project requirements, and design effective test strategies. You should have a strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for application development projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on design and functionality.
• Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
• Perform regression testing to validate the impact of changes on existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed reports on defects.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role with a focus on application development testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
